Connections allow you to view and control Orders, Inventory, and Shipments in one convenient location. They introduce new management functions, such as the ability to manually force an order status import for shipment information. And they provide API insights for a clearer view into the communications exchanged between connected systems.
The Connections view (Dashboard > Connections) provides a broad overview of your Connections, which can be enabled or disabled individually.
Click the name of the Connection's Merchant, Store, or Warehouse to view the dashboard for that system. Or, click the Connection Name to view more details.
In the Connection overview (Connections > click a Connection name), you can monitor the operation of individual channel processes, including their Inventory, Sales Orders, and Shipments.
In the Sales Order view (Connection overview > Sales Orders), you can edit the schedule, enable sync, or force an order import. If you click an order ID in the Recent Orders window, you can review the order data, including a log of its history.
When viewing a specific order, you can review detailed API logs of the request to and response from the connected sales platform, a history of events, and full order details.
In the Shipments view (Connection overview > Shipments), you can edit the schedule, enable sync, and force an order status import. If you click the Tracking Number in the Shipments window, you can see the shipment data, including a log of its history.
When viewing an individual shipment, you can review detailed API logs of the request to and response from the connected sales platform, a history of the shipment's events, which line items are associated with the tracking number, and the quantity shipped.
In the Inventory view (Connection overview > Inventory), you can edit the schedule, enable sync, and force a partial or full update. Viewing an SKU in the Inventory Items window shows you to the inventory update history for that item, and provides the option to exclude the SKU from updates, if needed.
Exclude an SKU
To exclude an inventory item from updates to a specific sales channel:
- While viewing an Inventory SKU (Connection > Inventory > click an SKU), click Settings.
- Select the Store(s) for which this SKU should be excluded from Sales Channel updates.
- Click Save.
