3PL Central - (SOAP) Enable API Access

Note: If your 3PL account uses the REST API, view these instructions instead:

(REST) Enable API access in PackageBee.

The API (Application Programming Interface) provides automated communication between connected systems. In order to automate fulfillment, API access must be enabled.

Enter SOAP API credentials in PackageBee

If you have not yet gathered your API credentials, follow these steps first:

(SOAP) Gather API credentials from 3PL Central.

  1. In your PackageBee Dashboard, click Warehouses.

  1. Click the name of your 3PL Central Warehouse.

In the PackageBee Warehouses view, click the name of your 3PL Central warehouse.

  1. Under Connection details, for API version, choose SOAP (Version 1).

Under Connection Details, for API Version, choose SOAP (Version 1).

  1. Enter the required SOAP API credentials:
  • 3PL Central API Key
  • 3PL Central API ID
  • Customer Login
  • Customer Password
  • Customer ID

Enter the required 3PL Central SOAP API credentials.

  1. Optional: Under Facility ID, enter the ID of a specific warehouse where the inventory is assigned and managed.
  2. Click Save changes.
