Follow these steps to gather credentials for the Walmart Drop Ship Vendor API.
Note: Walmart Drop Ship Vendor and Walmart Marketplace require different API credentials. For Walmart Marketplace, please see:
Gather credentials from Walmart DSV
In order to enable access to the Walmart Drop Ship Vendor API, the following credentials must be gathered:
- Vendor ID
- Consumer ID
- Private Key
To gather credentials, you must have been previously approved to be a Walmart Drop Ship Vendor, and created a Walmart DSV account.
When you sign up, retain your assigned Vendor ID.
Consumer ID & Private ID
If you have already generated your API keys (Consumer ID and Private Key), locate them now and retain them.
If you are unable to find the keys, or have not created them yet, follow these steps:
- Log in to Walmart Developer Center using your Walmart Supplier Center user name and password.
- You are redirected to a page where you can generate your API Keys.
- Click the Generate Key buttons next to the Consumer ID and Private Key fields.
- Retain the generated Consumer ID and Private Key.
If at any point you misplace your previously-generated keys, you can regenerate the Private Key by clicking Regenerate Key on this page. Doing so deactivates your previous Private Key, but your Consumer ID remains the same.
