Quiet Logistics is a logistics and supply chain that provides multi-channel order fulfillment and returns management services to US-based e-commerce retailers. In order to configure your Quiet Logistics integration in PackageBee, you will need to gather the API credentials and enable API access.
Gather API credentials
To integrate Quiet Logistics with PackageBee, you will need to gather the following credentials.
- Client ID
- Business Unit
- Warehouse ID
- Access Key Id
- Secret Key
To gather those credentials, you must have already registered for a Quiet Logistics account. You will also need to have an active AWS (Amazon Web Services) account because Quiet Logistics uses Amazon SQS (Amazon Simple Queue Service) and Amazon S3 for their fulfillment management.
To find your Client ID, Business Unit and Warehouse ID, log in to your Quiet Logistics account, or contact Quiet Logistics for assistance.
To find your Access Key Id and Secret Key, locate the AWS Access Key and Secret Access Key that you downloaded when you first created them. If that is not possible, you can generate new AWS access keys as follows:
- Log in to Amazon Web Services.
- In the AWS console top menu, select Account Name > My Security Credentials.
- Select Access keys (access key ID and secret access key) in the center pane, and click Create New Access Key.
- Download and save your keys in a secure location because Amazon does not allow users to retrieve their existing secret access keys later on (you will still have the opportunity to create new keys).
Configure API access
After gathering your credentials, you will need to share them with PackageBee. This is required for fulfillment automation and for secure communication between connected systems.
You or your account manager can enter the API credentials in PackageBee in one of the two ways:
- When you are initially setting up a new warehouse with Connection Wizard.
- When you are editing a pre-existing warehouse.
During warehouse setup
To input your API credentials during warehouse setup, follow the Connection Wizard instructions detailed in our Quickstart guide. Warehouse API credentials can be entered during Step 2: Warehouse Setup:
- Name your warehouse.
- Select Quiet Logistics as the Fulfillment Provider from the dropdown menu.
- Under Connection details, enter the credentials that you gathered in the steps above:
- Client ID
- Business Unit
- Warehouse ID
- Access Key Id
- Secret Key
During Warehouse update
Alternatively, you can enter your API credentials by editing an existing warehouse:
- On the PakcageBee Dashboard, click Warehouses in the left side menu.
- Click the name of your Quiet Logistics warehouse.
- Under Connection details for that warehouse, enter your Quiet Logistics credentials as described above.
- Click Save changes.
