This article outlines the steps required to configure your Magento integration. Steps include:
- Configure product SKUs.
- Gather shipping methods.
- Enable inventory tracking.
- Include tracking numbers in shipment emails.
- Review order status.
- Supported versions.
Configure product SKUs
Stock keeping units (SKUs) are merchant-defined codes that uniquely identify products in a warehouse. It is critical that the SKUs defined in Magento exactly match the SKUs loaded into your warehouse management system.
Gather shipping methods
Most businesses have unique shipping needs that are based on a variety of factors and limitations. Once you've decided which methods (and/or carriers) to offer, the only thing your shoppers need to do is choose a method when they place their orders.
A mapping must be created from each available shipping method option to a unique shipping code used by your fulfillment provider.
Enable inventory tracking
The integration supports inventory tracking.
Include tracking numbers in shipment emails
PackageBee provides an enhancement to the default settings allowing tracking numbers to be sent in shipment emails for Magento.
Review Order Status
When you set the integration to Enabled will begin the process of automatically sending orders from Magento to your fulfillment provider's warehouse management system.
The following versions of Magento are supported for PackageBee integration:
