BigCommerce - Enable API Access

The Application Programming Interface (API) allows for automated communication between connected systems. In order to automate fulfillment, API access must be enabled.

If you have not yet gathered your credentials, follow these steps first:

Gather API credentials from BigCommerce.

Enter API credentials in PackageBee

  1. In the PackageBee Dashboard, click Stores.

In the PackageBee Dashboard, click Stores.

  1. Click the name of your BigCommerce store.
  2. In Connection details, enter your Store Hash.

To find your Store Hash, see: BigCommerce - Gather API Credentials.

  1. Click Authorize.

Enter your BigCommerce store hash, and click Authorize.

  1. A BigCommerce login window opens. Enter the Store Owner Username and Password, and click Log in.

Enter credentials, and authorize the connection with BigCommerce.

  1. You are prompted to add the PackageBee app. Click Confirm.

Click Confirm.

  1. After authorization is complete, the pop-up closes. In PackageBee, select an Order Status To Import (typically "Awaiting Fulfillment").

  1. When you're done, click Save changes.
