Skubana - PackageBee Channel Connector Setup Guide

Welcome to PackageBee Channel Connector!

This article walks you through the steps of setting up and using the PackageBee Channel Connector to connect your online store to your Skubaba account. Steps include:

1. Installing the PackageBee Channel Connector App

To install the PackageBee Channel Connector App:

i. Login to Skubana
ii. From the dashboard, click My Apps
iii. Click View App Store
iv. Search for the PackageBee Channel Connector App
v. Click on the app, then click Install the App
vi. You will be directed to the PackageBee signup page

2. Creating your PackageBee Account

To create your PackageBee Account:

i. Fill in your company information, make sure that Skuaba is selected as your "Fulfillment Provider"
ii. Click Create Account
iii. You will be logged into you PackageBee Account and taken to the PackageBee Dashboard.

3. Connecting to Skubana Account

To connect PackageBee to your Skubana Account:

i. In PackageBee, click Warehouses
ii. Click on your Warehouse (titled: "default")
iii. Rename your Warehouse
iv. Enter your Sales Channel Name
        a. Follow the steps here to Gather the Sales Channel Name
v. Click Save Changes

4. Connecting to your Online Store

To connect to your online store:

i. In PackageBee, click Stores
ii. Click Add a Store
iii. Enter Store Name, then select the sales channel from the dropdown menu. Note that the Connection Details section below will change depending on which sales channel you select
iv. Enter API credentials in Connection Details
v. Click Save Changes

5. Create Order Rules

PackageBee features a robust custom rules engine that allows you to tailor your integration to match unique workflows. One of these rules, the Order Shipping Description Transformer Rule, is required to map your Shipping Methods in your e-commerce system to those at your fulfillment provider.

6. Enabling Your Store

After completing the previous steps, you can now Enable your Store. Enabling your Store will begin the process of importing orders from your e-commerce cart.

7. Testing Orders

After enabling your Store, orders will be imported and sent to your fulfillment provider. You can also create test orders from your e-commerce system. Once these orders are sent to your fulfillment provider, please communicate with your fulfillment provider to make sure they are seeing the orders enter their system correctly. Once the fulfillment provider has marked the items as Shipped, shipping and tracking information will be automatically pulled from the fulfillment provider and uploaded to your e-commerce system.
